Maddens Lawyers have appointed Mark Koch as the new General Manager. Maddens Lawyers, one the regions largest legal practices with offices in Warrnambool, Colac and Melbourne, employs 43 people. 

Mark replaces Norm Shaw who retired in December - after 13 years as Practice Manager and General Manager of Maddens Lawyers. Norm had over 35 years experience in legal practice administration - focusing on financial management, human resources management, administration and marketing. On his watch, Norm has seen Maddens Lawyers grow and expand to be the regions leading law firm. He has also overseen the implementation of the the new electronic technology in legal management and administration. Whilst Norm has retired, he will retain a Consultancy role with Maddens Lawyers, and in particular will co-ordinate the new building project. In his retirement Norm plans to spend more time with the family - in particular his grandchildren, ride his new bike, play golf, travel and paint.

Mark Koch is the fourth manager in the history of Maddens Lawyers - following on from Yani Marris, Norm Shaw and Ross Leishman. Prior to his appointment at Maddens Lawyers, Mark was Manager of the Warrnambool Golf Club. Mark has had extensive experience in Management, Accounting and Information Technology - having worked in a multi-national agricultural firm and a large not-for-profit organisation.  Mark enters Maddens Lawyers at the  beginning of an exciting new era - with the imminent re-location from 1a Liebig Street office to a new purpose-built  office in Koroit Street. The new office will have state-of-the art facilities - as Maddens Lawyers moves to a practice with enhanced Technology and Electronic Document Management.
